A Fun Look Back

Good Morning!  Happy April, Fools!

Today I want to take a trip down blog-memory lane and take a fun look back at some of my favorite posts from the ol’ archives.  It will be a little bit like that Saturday NIght Live skit with Chris Farley where he plays the super-awkward interviewer and all he can do is ask his celebrity guests, “You remember that one time, when you did that thing?  That was awesome.”  For the record, in this scenario, you are the celebrity.

So, remember, that one time, when I posted about this cake?

Sarah's CakeTuxedo Cake is awesome.

(I’m done being Chris Farley now.)

Since we are talking about food, these are my top three favorite recipe posts:

guacamole and chip

The World’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

If I ever have to request a final meal, I’m pretty sure the menu will include those three winners.

My favorite project post was about Gift Books.

If you’re looking for a really special gift idea for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, a birthday or graduation, a gift book is  a great choice.

Just in time for spring cleaning, one of my favorite organizational posts is all about how to fold clothes in a dresser drawer and still be able to see everything.

Revolutionary.  Try it.  You’ll never go back to the old way.

I’ve already started mapping out our summer schedule, which reminds me about this project.

Do you know how to tie perfect bows every time?

And do you love painting your nails but hate how it always chips off a day later?

This series of posts (1.) (2.) (3.) will change your life and give you tools to get professional manicure results at home.

Want to read about a funny (only in hindsight) trial in the life of our family?

Not Nice Girls

The Not Nice won’t disappoint.  I still can’t believe that whole thing ever happened.  It still haunts me.

Last week I mentioned the Weeknight Wonders series (which I will be adding too from time to time), but the other series worth mentioning is Friday Pie Day.

During the Summer of Pies, I baked a different pie every week and posted the recipe on Friday.  A lot happened that summer, and in the midst of all those pies there is a bittersweet story of how pie can sometimes be good for the soul.

Oh my goodness, I could go on and on!

Thank you for letting me take you on a tour of some of my favorite blog memories.  Have a lovely day!

I was the recipient of a gift book put together by Andrea, for my 40th birthday. It is one of my treasures.
