Dress season is the best season, and there is not a better season for dresses than Easter. I love choosing a special Easter dress for myself (and my girls), and today I am sharing a few that have caught my eye this season.
My ideal Easter dress is distinctively spring in color. Ideally, I love a white Easter dress, but this is not always possible. My next favorite color palette includes spring green, a pop of pink, or a seersucker pattern.
Another feature I look for in an Easter dress is long-term wearability. Sure, I want to wear the dress for Easter, but I also want to use it as an option for upcoming showers, weddings, or warm-weather parties.
Lastly, aside from color, fit, and style, I want my Easter dress to have a touch of something special that sets it apart from what I would normally wear to church. I want it to feel elevated, casually elegant, and make me smile at the thought of wearing it. Despite the fact that the church my family attends tends to be more casual, all bets are off for Easter Sunday. Timm dons his seersucker suit and pastel bow tie, the girls wear cute dresses and new shoes, and I don a new frock with a smile on my face and a spring in my step.
Easter dresses are the best!
