The Fourth Of July brings lots of opportunities to embrace everything red, white, and blue. Today I am sharing some of my favorite items to add a sparkle of patriotic spirit to you home!
Out of all the items included, I want to put a personal seal of approval on the buntings. I purchased these for decoration for Jake’s Eagle Scout ceremony, and they are so good. Made from very lightweight fabric, I found the size to be ideal for indoors. For the ceremony, I hung mine on metal shelving with tiny magnets, but you can also affix 3M hooks to your wall or banister and use the grommets on the buntings. Additionally, because they are so lightweight, in certain situations (like a wall or bulletin board) you could easily hang these using thumb tacks. I love putting them on my bar cart and chalkboard at home for a fun patriotic nod.
The other item I love having on hand are these plastic baskets. Ribs, hot dogs, burgers, fried fish, and lots of other summer foods are so easy to serve in a basket (I line mine with parchment), and they add a certain colorful flair to a table that feels fun.
