This was a whirlwind of a week, and boy do I have the fatigue to prove it! Between a weekend getting my girls ready to start school, then the first day of school, then a solo trip to Fayetteville to help Jake move in, then a day of work to catch up on being gone…my head was spinning.
Here is what I wore this week…
SATURDAY

I am over summer. And while I know the temps are still insane, I want to feel like fall is coming, so I wore leggings and a big shirt with sneakers and a scarf. It says casual, no-makeup Saturday, but in a less summery way. Good thing our AC works like a champ!

SUNDAY

I held the same sentiment when it was time to get dressed for church on Sunday. I don’t want to wear summer clothes, but I don’t want to be hot either. This outfit isn’t particularly warm, but it looks more like fall then a white linen dress or a seersucker top.

MONDAY

It will not surprise you that I dressed for the occasion on the First Day Of School. Loafers, oxford, striped cardigan…I just leaned into the theme and felt very scholastic. It was a wonderful day!

TUESDAY through THURSDAY

On Tuesday I drove myself and all of Jake’s belonging up to Fayetteville. I spent Wednesday helping him move in, and on Thursday I drove home. I wore some version of this outfit all three days.

FRIDAY

Back home and ready to wrap up the work week, jeans and a classic navy t-shirt felt right. I added a scarf and a shoe and called it a day.
