We made it! August is behind us, and fall awaits us ahead.
Last week began with a stay-cation get away with Timm on Saturday night followed by what felt like the first “official” week of school. My kids’ volleyball and cheer and band events kicked into high gear, and work was as mess of activity in the best possible way. I also hosted a small dinner party!
Here is what I wore this week…
SATURDAY
We stayed at the Hotel Drover Saturday night, and if you are looking for a great getaway spot with lots of attention to detail, I highly recommend. For dinner I wore my favorite silk goes-with-anything-and-looks-amazing top and my super special party shoes.
SUNDAY
I honestly cannot remember what I did on Sunday, but this is what I wore. I think?

MONDAY
I will never not love wearing some version of jeans and a white shirt.
TUESDAY
All white feels like the thing to wear the week before Labor Day. That being said, I have decided that these off-white jeans from Madewell are going to be the perfect winter white jean. Get excited to keep seeing them in regular rotation!

WEDNESDAY
Who’s ready for fall? Me!!! Trouser jeans, a tie-neck blouse, and loafers for the win! My blouse is old Anthro, but JCrew Factory has a version right now that is so cute and comes in so many great colors. Add to cart immediately.

THURSDAY
I hosted a small dinner party Thursday night and popped on this dress from several years ago with my favorite Kate Spade heels (T.J. Maxx for the win!). The evening was really special, and I like getting dressed up for dinner with friends, even if the evening is casual.
FRIDAY
After a week of school events every night and a dinner party the night before, I was a zombie on Friday. I opted for comfortable clothes and crawled into bed at 8:30. Night night.
