I love September so much, I never want it to end. In past years I have made the mistake of “saving” my favorite fall pieces for when it feels like fall only to discover, that day may never arrive. Instead, we wear the clothes and feel good about our choices, regardless of the weather. This week I wore jeans, loafers, jackets and sweaters, and it felt great!

SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Have you ever had one of those weekends where you wear the same thing two days in a row because, be honest, did you really get those clothes dirty? I lived in this outfit for two days.

Pink ballet flats, while seemingly spring-like, are a surprising fall neutral for me. I also have yet to find a fall outfit that is not instantly elevated with the presence of a field jacket.

THURSDAY
They are hard to see in this photo, but I bought lug-sole loafers last year, and they are a win. I swiped this sweater from my daughter’s closet, which is one of the perks of your children getting older.
