I do not have any weddings on my calendar, but a friend of mine asked me to help her look for a dress for an upcoming wedding (twist my arm), and while browsing, I found so many good options I knew I needed to share them with you.
I love an event dress, and weddings are one of the few places where you can really bring out all the stops and choose a dress that is a bit extra.
To start with, this ruffly, floor-length gown from Mac Duggal is calling my name! It has all the features I love in a dress, including the ability to wear normal undergarments. The colors are so pretty, and the flow of the skirt would be perfect for an evening of dancing.
My second favorite? This one-shoulder blue and white number from J.Crew. The drape is so pretty, and the pattern is so striking, it would make for a very chic look with red lips and a glitzy earring.
Finally, one more worth mentioning, I think this black tulle dress would be amazing for the holidays. It provides a modern take on the little black dress. Picture it with an updo, a strappy heel, a glass of champagne, and a festive evening with friends. It’s hard not to love!
